Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking a Project Controls professional to support prime contract management, scheduling, and cost control for District projects. The role is based out of Augusta, GA, with duties spanning cost reporting, schedule updates, and change order coordination.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 3+ years in construction controls. Strong communication and accounting knowledge are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in construction engineering, project management or project controls.
• Experience with complex scheduling and cost control processes.
• Knowledge of construction contract agreements and change order processes.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including construction accounting.

Responsibilities

• Review contract management records to provide technical advice or project control guidance.
• Assist cost controls reporting and reconcile project cost reporting for District or Mega Project.
• Support scheduling for District or Mega Project, including bid phase and monthly updates.
• Coordinate with Division Claims/Contract Manager on change orders and claims.
• Monitor unsecured revenue, contingencies, and over/under billing to control cash flow.
• Assist with resource and cost loading to the schedule, including labor and equipment projections.
• Maintain familiarity with Company values and strategic plan.
• Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
