Prince Contracting, LLC in Augusta, GA is seeking an experienced project controls professional to support scheduling, cost control, and contract management for one or more projects. The role focuses on ensuring accurate project cost reporting, schedule development, and change order tracking.

You will analyze contract management records, assist with cost loading and KPI monitoring, and coordinate with the Project Controls Director for district level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in construction engineering, project management or project controls.
• Experience with complex scheduling and cost control processes.
• Knowledge of construction contract agreements and change order processes.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including construction accounting.
• Able to identify cost reduction strategies in schedule, quantities or contract specifications.

Responsabilités

• Reviews contract management records to provide technical advice or project control guidance.
• Assist with cost controls reporting and reconciliation of project cost reporting for one District or Mega Project.
• Assist scheduling process and support for District or Mega Project, including bid phase and schedule creation, monthly reporting and updates.
• Assist with integration of company systems to track, monitor and control costs or schedule; ensure training and usage of approved systems.
• Perform regular project reviews and monitor job cost reports against KPIs.
• Coordinate with Division Claims/Contract Manager on change orders and claims tracking.
• Track unsecured revenue and project contingencies, and monitor over/under billing.
• Assist with resource and cost loading to the schedule (labor, equipment, materials).
• Maintain knowledge of company values and strategic plan.

Supports project controls program and activities, including prime contract management, scheduling, and cost control and contract change management for one or more projects in a District. This position will be based out of Augusta, GA.

Job Responsibilities - this position will be based out of Augusta, GA

• Reviews and analyzes contract management records to provide technical advice or project control guidance.
• Assists with cost controls reporting and reconciliation of project cost reporting for one District or Mega Project and provides District or Project reporting to Project Controls Director for Division level reports.
• Assists scheduling process and support for District or Mega Project, including bid phase and project schedule creation, monthly reporting and schedule update,
• Assists with integration of Company systems to track, monitor and control costs or schedule. Ensures accurate training and utilization of approved systems for project document control and reporting.
• Performs regular project reviews and monitors the job cost report against key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Coordinates with Division Claims/Contract Manager in tracking and monitoring change order and claims preparation and resolution
• Tracks activities around unsecured revenue and project contingencies.
• Tracks of over/under billing to monitor and control project cash flow.
• Assists with resource and cost loading to the schedule, including labor projections, equipment and material projections, and productivity trend reporting to accurately forecast project costs and project financial outcome.
• Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.

• Experience with complex scheduling and cost control processes required.
• Knowledge of construction contract agreements and change order processes required.

• Able to identify cost reduction strategies in schedule, quantities or contract specifications that align with project budget and design specification requirements.
