Job summary

Hyundai Engineering America is seeking a motivated HSE Coordinator to support safety, health, and environmental compliance for the Hanwha Philly Shipyard Expansion Project. The role involves implementing safety programs, training, and documenting HSE activities on a large-scale industrial project.

The successful candidate will monitor OSHA regulations, coordinate training, manage HSE documentation, and assist in subcontractor safety management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, or construction project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules to support project execution and reporting.
• Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance against milestones.
• Administer subcontract agreements and support subcontractor procurement activities.
• Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking efforts.
• Prepare project control reports and performance updates for management review.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment of project objectives.
• Communicate with subcontractors and project stakeholders to support project execution and issue resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
