Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. (Mitsubishi Power) is seeking a Project Control Engineer in the Savannah area to oversee project controls for repair service projects from inception through delivery.

You will manage costs, schedules, scope, and risks while partnering with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Planning, and Commercial teams to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with project cost control,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; interpret technical data.
• Experience managing project costs, budgets, forecasts, schedules, risks, milestones.
• Ability to communicate financial and project information clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, ownership.
• Manage project controls for repair service projects including costs, budgets, schedules, forecasts, scope, risks, and financial performance.
• Coordinate activities, resources, milestones, and deliverables to support execution, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Support project estimating, scope development, risk identification, and proposal preparation for service opportunities.
• Lead project kickoff and review activities; communicate status, costs, schedules, risks, changes, and action items to stakeholders.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Commercial teams to support execution.
• Monitor financial performance: budget-to-actual costs, forecasts, variances, and project risks.
• Evaluate cost and schedule impacts of scope changes and engineering changes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, forecasts, and action tracking.
