Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to ensure accurate control, analysis, and reporting of project cost and labor performance. The role acts as a liaison among Project Management, Supply Chain, Technical Field Advisors, and Accounting, and owns labor-hour tracking in Oracle Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project or Construction Management, Data Analytics or related field.
• 2–3 years of project cost-control and reporting experience, including EPC exposure and contracts knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 labor-hour tracking, timesheets, and earned value concepts.

Responsibilities

• Track planned versus actual labor hours and costs across PM, Supply Chain, and Technical Field Advisor activities; maintain rolling forecasts and recommend actions.
• Administer Oracle Primavera P6 and P6 Team Member for labor tracking, including access, security, allocations, and timesheet governance.
• Monitor timesheet submissions, resolve discrepancies between planned, actual, and approved hours/dates, and coordinate manager approvals.
• Support Earned Value Management by aligning resources with schedule activities and validating percent complete, units, dates, and costs.
