Job summary

Beck & Pollitzer seeks a Project Controls Director to lead flagship governance across the region, reporting to Group Head of Operational Excellence. The role requires independent oversight, strong stakeholder engagement and travel to sites regionally.

You will oversee cost control, earned value, forecasting, and project baselines, with a focus on delivering accurate oversight for complex engineering and industrial projects while collaborating with regional leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• Senior project-controls experience on large, complex engineering or industrial projects.
• Track record influencing senior stakeholders and Board reporting.
• Strong integrated planning, critical-path analysis, cost control and forecasting.
• Desirable qualifications: AACE, APM or PMI-SP or RICS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of flagship project governance framework across the region and contribute to Group-level development.
• Coach project managers and project-controls staff; improve templates, dashboards and benchmarks.
• Independently challenge baselines, programmes and forecasts to ensure accurate reporting.
• Review cost, labour hours, earned value and productivity by work package with evidence-based forecasts.
• Maintain visibility of risks, cash flow, invoicing and opportunities with Commercial and Finance.
• Coordinate weekly flagship progress reviews and site audits with concise reporting to senior leadership.
