Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Analyst to support Naval Nuclear Laboratory programs at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna, NY.

This onsite, full-time role involves developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, managing resource-loaded and financial plans, and monitoring progress across multiple sites. You will analyze budgets, cost data, forecasts, and performance metrics, while coordinating with project teams to resolve issues and prepare management updates.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or higher and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship required due to federal nature of work.
• Active DOE "L" Clearance or DOD "Secret" clearance required.
• Proficiency with project scheduling software, preferably Primavera.
• Experience managing, tracking, and analyzing project financial information.
• Ability to work with budgets, cost data, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills related to project schedules and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects ranging from approximately $3M to $80M at the Knolls Site and Kesselring Site as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera.
• Create and manage resource-loaded and financial schedules to support planning and execution.
• Track project plans, milestones, schedules, budgets, and overall progress.
• Monitor project performance using project controls techniques.
• Perform project risk analysis and identify potential impacts on cost, schedule, and resources.
• Identify and help resolve resource conflicts, scheduling issues, and constraints.
• Analyze budgets, cost data, workforce requirements, and resource estimates.
• Prepare and maintain performance metrics, reports, and project status information for management and customers.
• Develop portions of the Program Management Plan and other project documentation.
• Prepare, process, track, and issue project change controls.
• Evaluate the effects of proposed changes on cost, schedule, resources, and performance.
• Support project meetings with updates and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, construction personnel, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Submit required project reports and management updates.
• Assist with project closeout activities, including final closeout reports and documentation.
