Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. seeks a Project Analyst to support Naval Nuclear Laboratory projects at Knolls site in Niskayuna, NY. This full-time, onsite role performs schedule, cost, and risk activities across $3M–$80M projects and supports program management and project controls.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DOE L or DOD Secret clearance. Primavera scheduling and Excel proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Education & Years of Experience – High School Diploma or higher and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Citizenship – United States citizen required due to federal nature of work.
• Clearance – must obtain and maintain government issued clearance; active DOE L Clearance or DOD Secret clearance preferred.
• Proficiency with project scheduling software, preferably Primavera.
• Experience managing, tracking, and analyzing project financial information.
• Ability to work with budgets, cost data, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills related to project schedules and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera.
• Track project plans, milestones, schedules, budgets, and overall progress.
• Monitor project performance using project management and project controls techniques.
• Perform project risk analysis and identify potential schedule, cost, and resource impacts.
• Prepare and maintain performance metrics, reports, and project status information for management and customers.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, construction personnel, and other stakeholders to resolve project issues.
• Prepare, process, track, and issue project change controls.
• Assist with project closeout activities and preparation of final closeout reports and documentation.
