Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Project Controls Analyst II in Chicago or Houston to monitor schedules, budgets and program management for the Distributed Solar & Storage business. The role reports to the Director of Asset Management and blends technical and administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years in project management or related fields, strong Excel, Salesforce reporting, and SAP proficiency. Hybrid work arrangement and travel up to 10% are expected.

  • Intermediate Excel skills with large datasets, pivot, and advanced functions.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and analytics.
  • SAP proficiency for project financial tracking and spend reconciliation.

What You Can Expect

The Project Controls Analyst II supports the Development, Engineering & Delivery department by monitoring project schedules, budgets, and program management activities for the Distributed Solar & Storage business. This role provides monthly schedule and budget reporting, supports financing request preparation, and helps maintain standard operating procedures and lessons learned processes. The position also serves as an internal resource for project management information system usage and auditing. The role reports to the Director of Asset Management and combines technical and administrative responsibilities.

  • Monitor project development and delivery activities, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provide monthly schedule and budget reports to the Project Controls group.
  • Assist with standard operating procedures and lessons learned program activities.
  • Support preparation of monthly financing requests and documentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for project management information system usage and audits.
What You’ll Bring
  • You must have a minimum Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in Project Management, Project Scheduling, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including large dataset analysis, advanced functions, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and analytics.
  • SAPproficiencyfor project financial tracking andspendreconciliation.
  • Understanding ofCAPEX versus OPEX accounting concepts.
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy;
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
Compensation

Salary Range: $66,465 - $106,639 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
