Job summary

ENGIE North America in Golden, CO, seeks an Electrical & Instrument Technician II to maintain and operate complex plant electrical, control, computer, and process systems for safe, reliable operations. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and perform daily work onsite.

The role requires a minimum 2 years in electrical instrumentation, a valid U.S. driver’s license, CMMS proficiency, and readiness to travel to the plant for maintenance tasks. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

  • At least 2 years in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation.
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and consent to drive a company vehicle.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Able to troubleshoot, test, calibrate, and maintain electrical and control systems.

What You Can Expect

As our Electrical & Instrument Technician II, in Golden, CO you will be responsible for maintaining and operating complex electrical, control, computer, and plant systems that are critical to safe and reliable plant operations. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

You will:

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical and control systems, including motors, MCCs, relays, breakers, UPS/battery systems, rotating equipment, and associated plant electrical tools

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation
  • This role requires attendance at a worksiteon a daily basis
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; will drive company vehicle at plant
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Ability to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track equipment readings, test results, and maintenance activities
  • Able to perform emergency troubleshooting, repair, testing, calibration, programming, and maintenance of electrical, controls, pneumatic, electronic, low-/medium-voltage, and process control systems
  • Must maintain plant electrical and control systems to maximize safety, reliability, efficiency, and availability
  • Diagnose electrical issues, implement corrective actions, and coordinate vendor or engineering support as needed
  • Bring experience with PLCs, water and gas analyzers, gas and solid fuel-fired boiler controls, and turbine controls

Compensation

Hourly Range: $33.41 to $51.19 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
