Job summary

Lighthouse Electric in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a Project Controls Analyst. This role supports project financial performance, budgeting, productivity tracking, and operational reporting across construction projects.

You will collaborate with Project Controls Manager, Project Managers, Accounting, and Field Leadership to maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting, while assisting with billing and cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in project controls, accounting, finance, construction operations, or related roles.
• Experience with job cost accounting principles and project financial tracking.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI (certifications preferred) and familiarity with project management/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Controls Manager with maintaining accurate project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting.
• Support the Earned Value Management (EVM) process including forecasting, baselining, and earned value tracking.
• Coordinate with estimating, project management, and accounting teams to allocate budgets and change orders.
• Integrate data from estimating, scheduling, design, project management, and accounting systems to generate reports.
• Track labor hours, quantities, productivity trends, and project performance metrics.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to assess project performance and gather operational feedback.
• Support monthly billing preparation and validation across multiple contract types.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting documentation.
