Job summary

SEL is seeking a Project Coordinator in Engineering Services to support a range of projects from quoting to closeout. You will coordinate activities between Project Managers and Engineering teams, track schedules, resources, and finances, and engage with procurement, legal, and customer teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a project controller or similar role.
• Ability to coordinate across project managers, engineering, procurement and finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication on technical topics.
• High attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Experience with project cost estimation, invoicing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Project Coordinator in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.

The Project Coordinator is a key member of the Project Management team and requires a variety of skills. Our typical projects can range from small, single deliverable projects to larger, multi-month or even multi-year projects. You will be involved from quoting to project close out. You will coordinate and track project activities between the Project Manager and the Engineering teams. Key duties include supporting quote preparation, schedule tracking, resource tracking, project finance, and technical deliverables. You will also engage with customer project managers, procurement, legal, and engineering team members.

As a Project Coordinator, a typical day might include the following:

• Having experience with Deltek Vision software is a plus.

Pay Range Data: $82,000 - $122,900

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Project Controller I level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
