Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Project Controller to lead project-level cost management in Port Washington, WI.

The role requires heavy involvement with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control on a complex electrical construction project. The ideal candidate will have extensive project controls experience, GAAP/SOX knowledge, and a track record of delivering accurate financial information to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related field required.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible related work experience, including managing programs or departments of comparable size and complexity.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, cost codes, subcontractor management, and forecasting.
• Experience with JDEdwards and GAAP/SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project cost management and ensure on-time availability of financial data.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and ensure proper cost coding in JDEdwards.
• Manage change orders, subcontractor costs, and payment invoicing with accuracy.
• Provide weekly financial analysis and variance explanations to project team and management.
• Support cash flow forecasting and prepare timely financial reports for monthly reviews.
