• 5+ years experience within construction, project management, project controls, or a related field.
• Experience implementing or supporting the rollout of a new process, system, technology, or digital tool.
• Working knowledge of construction scheduling.
• Exposure to scheduling platforms such as Primavera P6 is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard collaboration tools.
• Ability to translate project needs and user feedback into clear recommendations.

About the Role:

Currie & Brown is seeking a Project Controls Implementation Specialist to support the rollout and adoption of technology and standardized processes across construction projects.

This role will serve as a key link between project teams and technical solution engineers, helping ensure new tools and processes are successfully integrated into day-to-day project operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction and project controls, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

This is not a software engineering or technical configuration role. The primary focus is implementation, adoption, coordination, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and adoption of new technology, systems, and processes across construction project teams.
• Partner with project managers, project controls teams, schedulers, and other stakeholders to integrate new tools into existing project workflows.
• Serve as a liaison between project teams and technical solution engineers throughout implementation and onboarding.

• Help develop, document, and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for platform onboarding and implementation.
• Gather feedback from project teams and provide recommendations to improve the user experience, implementation process, and scalability of the platform.
• Coordinate implementation activities across multiple stakeholders and ensure actions, milestones, and deliverables remain on track.
• Apply an understanding of project controls and scheduling principles to ensure technology aligns with project needs and established workflows.
• Identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement and work collaboratively to develop practical solutions.
• Support the development of repeatable implementation practices that can be scaled across future projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years experience within construction, project management, project controls, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction project workflows and project controls principles.
• Experience implementing or supporting the rollout of a new process, system, technology, or digital tool within a project environment strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction scheduling and schedule management.
• Exposure to scheduling platforms such as Primavera P6 is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across project, operations, and technical teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to navigate change in a project environment.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard collaboration tools.
• Ability to translate project needs and user feedback into clear recommendations for technical and operational teams.
