Job summary

Currie & Brown, based in Austin, TX, seeks a Project Controls Implementation Specialist to drive rollout of new technology and standardized processes across major construction projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience within construction, project management, project controls, or a related field.
• Experience implementing or supporting the rollout of a new process, system, technology, or digital tool.
• Working knowledge of construction scheduling.
• Exposure to scheduling platforms such as Primavera P6 is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard collaboration tools.
• Ability to translate project needs and user feedback into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and adoption of new technology, systems, and processes across construction project teams.
• Partner with project managers, project controls teams, schedulers, and other stakeholders to integrate new tools into existing workflows.
• Serve as a liaison between project teams and technical solution engineers throughout implementation and onboarding.
• Drive user adoption by communicating process changes, identifying barriers, and supporting teams through transition.
• Help develop, document, and optimize SOPs for platform onboarding and implementation.
• Gather feedback from project teams and provide recommendations to improve user experience and scalability.
• Coordinate implementation activities across multiple stakeholders and keep milestones on track.
• Apply understanding of project controls and scheduling to ensure technology aligns with needs.
• Identify process gaps and develop practical solutions for future scalability.
