Job summary

LK Davis Consulting Corp. seeks an experienced Project Controls Manager to support a life sciences capital project in Richmond, Virginia.

Hybrid/remote flexibility is offered, with travel to the project site as required. You will lead planning and scheduling in Primavera P6, cost forecasting, risk tracking, and reporting to project leadership, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project controls on life sciences or pharmaceutical capital projects.
• Direct scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
• Ability to integrate schedule, cost, progress, and risk information across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Monitor critical paths, milestones, progress, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate schedule inputs across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee cost reporting, forecasts, variance analysis, and change tracking.
• Identify emerging risks and develop recovery plans.
• Present clear, actionable performance reports to project leadership.

The opportunity

Lead project controls activities across planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and reporting. Work closely with project leadership, engineering teams, and construction partners to identify risks, maintain reliable forecasts, and support project delivery.
