  • Experience supporting utility, engineering, or construction projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling, document control, and PM processes.
  • Knowledge of utility construction, transmission, distribution, or substation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with planning and execution of transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Track project budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and records.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture meeting minutes, and distribute action items.
  • Coordinate communication between engineering, construction, procurement, contractors, and utility stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks, potential delays, and outstanding actions.
  • Assist with permitting, material tracking, resource coordination, and project logistics.
  • Update project management systems and ensure documentation remains accurate and current.
  • Support project closeout activities, including turnover documentation and final reporting.
  • Ensure projects follow company procedures, project requirements, and applicable safety standards.
