Job summary

Maersk in Lima (Peru) is seeking a Pricing Analyst (Project Cargo) to design and quote complex project shipments, delivering end‑to‑end door‑to‑door solutions in collaboration with the MPL unit and commercial teams.

You will procure ocean freight rates, coordinate with port terminals and heavy-haul vendors, and build pricing guidelines while analyzing volume and margin trends. Strong analytical skills and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ experience in designing Project Cargo solutions.
• Experience designing solutions for sectors like mining, energy, astronomy, etc.
• Strong MPL solution engineering background with understanding of productivity/financial changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide spot rate quotations accurately and timely.
• Procure ocean seafreight rates from shipping lines and on‑shore services from vendors.
• Maintain pricing tools, analytics, and reporting on volume/margin trends.
• Collaborate with Product/PM teams and stakeholders to present full solutions to clients.
• Develop pricing guidelines and processes; model pricing scenarios for sales teams.
