Job summary

G|M Business Interiors in southern California is seeking a Job Captain to support sales operations, account and project management administration, and client coordination. The role offers an hourly pay range of $23–$25, plus a monthly bonus plan, PTO, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and an employee stock ownership plan for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, business, communications, or marketing preferred.
• 3–5 years in a business environment with a customer service focus.
• Highly proficient computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members and clients at all levels of project and account administration.
• Serve as telephone operator directing calls promptly and efficiently.
• Produce quick quotes and process requests.
• Manage multiple projects at varying stages of the project cycle.
• Draft documentation after client meetings to support throughput.
• Assist Sales in preparation for initial client meetings.
• Assist with bid committee activities.
• Create cohesive and detailed quote packages for clients.
• Detail specifications with Sales and Designers to fulfill client wishes.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, PM and Designers to prepare deliverables.
• Navigate G|M technology platforms.
• Prepare deployment documentation for client-facing technology.
• Coordinate project completion gifts and thank-you cards.
• Become a G|M culture champion by understanding our mission, values and DNA.
