Job summary

G|M Business Interiors, southern California’s premier Miller Knoll furniture dealer, seeks a Job Captain to support sales operations and project administration. The role involves coordinating quotes, client meetings, and documentation across projects, with emphasis on accuracy and timely execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, business, communications, or marketing preferred.
• 3-5 years in a business environment with customer service focus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members and clients at all levels of project administration.
• Serve as a telephone operator, directing calls promptly and efficiently.
• Produce quick quotes and process requests.
• Manage multiple projects at different stages of the cycle.
• Draft documentation after client meetings to support throughput.
• Assist Sales in preparation for client meetings and bid activities.
• Create cohesive quote packages for clients.
• Detail specifications with Sales and Designers to fulfill client wishes.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, PM, and Designers for deliverables.
• Navigate G|M technology platforms effectively.
• Lead Monday Morning Sales meetings and expedite orders.
