Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Project Buyer for Spring, TX. You will administer general purchasing and subcontracting, negotiating and documenting master vendor agreements and change orders.

You will maintain vendor qualification records and certificates of insurance to support project execution. Responsibilities include master agreement administration, procurement of services and materials, negotiations with vendors and subcontractors, and processing change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Experience with purchasing and subcontracting processes is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret contract language and serve as liaison with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Administer general purchasing and master agreements.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor pre-qualification and insurance compliance.
• Negotiate terms, process change orders, and administer subcontract agreements.
