Job summary

Pulice is seeking a Procurement Agent to source materials and services for multiple projects. This full-time role, based in Austin or Dallas, involves evaluating vendors, enforcing procurement policies, and maintaining procurement analytics to support project teams.

You will collect and track records of orders, support Accounts Payable reconciliation, and assist in contract creation and negotiation under supervision. A related degree and 1+ year construction experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Construction Management preferred.
• 1+ year related construction experience preferred.
• Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Able to identify, track and communicate project plan steps and actions.
• Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Qualifies and evaluates vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager or others for use on projects.
• Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams.
• Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
• Maintains the records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation.
• Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision and guidance of a procurement manager.
