Job summary

S&ME, Inc. is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to join our Finance team in a hybrid role across our locations.

The role focuses on project billing, invoicing, WIP reporting, and assisting with collections while coordinating with project managers throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of project billing experience, familiarity with KPI reporting, and a willingness to work in the engineering and construction industry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting/Finance a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of project billing experience.
• Experience with KPI reporting and dashboards desired.

Responsibilities

• Set up project information in the accounting system per contract terms.
• Generate and finalize invoices with attachments and documentation on schedule.
• Post and submit invoices to clients according to contract terms.
• Manage budget changes in the accounting platform following project manager guidance.
• Assist with collections, reviews, and project completion activities.
