Job summary

S&ME Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage financial functions for projects within our accounting system. You will work closely with project managers to ensure accurate invoicing, WIP reporting, and timely collections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of project billing experience.
• Experience in KPI reporting and dashboards.
• Understanding of Work in Progress (WIP) reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up project information in the accounting database and verify contract terms.
• Generate and finalize invoices with attachments by deadlines.
• Post and submit invoices to clients per contract terms.
• Manage budget changes in the accounting platform per PM guidance.
• Assist with collections and monthly project reviews, backlog, and closeouts.
