Weston & Sampson is seeking a Billing Specialist in Reading, MA with 3–5 years of accounting experience to join the Accounting team. The role focuses on high-volume project-based billing, collections support, reconciliations, and interdepartmental collaboration in a collaborative, expanding firm.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting (or related field) and strong Excel/Word skills, with a preference for candidates familiar with Deltek VantagePoint and the

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the construction/engineering industry is a plus.
• Experience using Deltek VantagePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of project-based billing activities in accordance with contract terms and policies.
• Support collections by monitoring accounts receivable and following up on outstanding balances.
• Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and G/L teams for intercompany billings/payables.
• Collaborate with project managers to resolve billing inquiries.
