Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (strongly preferred but not required).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
• Experience in the construction and/or engineering industry is a plus.
• Experience using Deltek VantagePoint is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong problem-solving, research, documentation, and data analysis skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional with a positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly to change, and follow tasks through to completion.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist with additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of project-based billing activities in accordance with contract terms and company policies.
• Support collections efforts by monitoring accounts receivable and following up on outstanding balances with clients.
• Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Payable Team regarding PWP charges.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable Team and G/L team for Intercompany billings/payables.
• Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed within the department.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to resolve billing and accounting inquiries.
