Job summary

The State of Alaska, Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children's Services in Juneau, seeks a Project Assistant to support a range of projects, train field staff, and manage data and statistics. This full-time role is located in the Goldstein Building, downtown Juneau, with access to local amenities.

The position includes a twelve-month probationary training phase, virtual training, on-the-job learning, and collaboration with colleagues. Alaska residents only may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services or community development is preferred.
• Ability to train field staff and develop materials.
• Strong data tracking and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and work on varied projects under supervision.
• Oversee Social Security benefits and complex care for children in foster care.
• Develop training materials, evaluate project activities, and prepare statistics and spreadsheets.
