Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Project Assistant for its Boise 548 operations in Meridian, ID. Responsibilities include data entry in Excel/Bluebeam, punch list management, RFIs/submittals, and labor control assistance.

The role offers a safety-sensitive environment with hourly pay of $18–$22, aligned to experience. Enrollees in construction management programs are encouraged to apply, with strong communication and teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Enrollment or recent graduation from Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking a Project Assistant for its Boise 548 operations based in Meridian, ID. The role involves the following responsibilities:

• Inputting project information into Excel and Bluebeam
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Assisting with the preparation of RFIs and submittals
• Assisting with managing labor control on the project
• Assisting in the preparation of quantity take‑offs for material ordering
• Maintaining accurate and timely project documentation and correspondence
• Tracking and cost‑valuing material handling

Pay range: $18–22 per hour, depending on experience.

This position is safety‑sensitive.

Basic Requirements

• Enrollment or recent graduation from a degree program in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word)
• Clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical functions and applying them when they are learned
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and receive and follow direction from multiple sources
• Possession of critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills
