Elevation Studio in Columbus is seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead projects from design through construction documentation and administration. You will work directly with clients, consultants, and regulators to solve problems and keep projects on schedule.

The role offers autonomy, a collaborative team, and opportunities to influence studio operations, with hybrid work options and a strong focus on hospitality, retail, and adaptive reuse projects.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and construction documentation.
• Experience coordinating consultants and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, construction methods, and permitting processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with a team.

Responsabilités

• Lead architectural projects from initial programming and design through construction documentation and administration.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and permitting authorities.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents using Revit with quality control.
• Lead building code, zoning, accessibility, entitlement, and permitting coordination.
• Oversee schedules, deliverables, consultant coordination, project budgets, and resources.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and emerging professionals while mentoring others.
• Help improve workflows, quality‑control standards, and integration of emerging technologies.
• Participate in business development, client relationships, proposals, and new project opportunities.
