Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Chicago office is seeking a highly motivated Project Architect to grow in healthcare, municipal, commercial, and higher education markets. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with our national architectural team to deliver complex projects.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong client relationships, and proficiency in Revit. Expect a hybrid work environment with opportunities for career development and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Architecture from an accredited program is required; Masters preferred.
• Registered Architect (NCARB preferred, but not required).
• Healthcare design experience is preferred.
• 10+ years of architectural design and planning experience in core markets.
• Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.
• Strong client development and relationship maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Understand the design process and project complexities to contribute to team success while meeting goals and standards.
• Coordinate project documentation and production of deliverables.
• Lead project coordination among internal disciplines and external consultants.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
• Lead regulatory reviews and construction contract administration.
• Support project marketing pursuits and interviews.
