Job summary

Construction Association of Michigan is seeking an Architect II - Project Architect to lead small- to mid-size architectural projects through design, documentation, permitting, construction, and post-occupancy. You will coordinate with the design team, clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring quality and adherence to BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Professional degree from NCARB-accredited school is required.
• Architectural license and 6+ years of experience in design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Four or more years in a project leadership role.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and monitor project personnel to support project requirements.
• Maintain awareness of scope, schedule, budget, and status; allocate effort accordingly.
• Keep managers informed of progress and assist as needed.
• Document changes in scope and/or additional services with the Project Manager.
• Lead consultants, contractors, and owners through integrated project delivery across phases.
• Guide small- to mid-size projects with construction costs under $10,000,000.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and distribute notes.
• Focus on client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Develop and maintain client confidence through professionalism and performance.
