Job summary

Archinect in Miami seeks a Project Architect / Technical Designer to bridge concept and construction, leading technical coordination and ensuring buildable drawings with strong BIM practice. You will mentor staff and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality documentation and permit-ready packages.

Ideal candidate has 9–11 years in architecture, licensure, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp; experience with hospitality projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• 9–11 years of professional architectural experience with leadership in technical coordination.
• Licensed or registered architect (AIA/ARB/other as applicable).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, fire safety, and zoning regulations.
• Experience with hospitality and destination design is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination across project phases, ensuring design intent is translated into buildable drawings.
• Produce comprehensive technical drawings and BIM models, manage documentation and submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to align scope and timelines.
• Ensure QA/QC and clash detection, maintain BIM model integrity and design standards.
• Mentor junior staff and enforce design quality and regulatory compliance.
