Job summary

Facade Today, a growing design and construction company based in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Residential Project Architect. This role focuses on high-quality residential projects, working closely with a multidisciplinary team from design through construction.

The successful candidate will lead BIM modeling in Revit, manage junior staff, and produce permit-ready documentation while enjoying a hybrid work schedule and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• 11-14 years of professional architecture experience, including 5+ years in residential architecture.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM modeling and construction documentation in Revit.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and other consultants.
• Produce permit-ready documentation and construction sets.
• Perform QA/QC on drawings and models.
• Help develop and implement office standards.
• Support RFIs, submittals, and construction administration.
• Mentor and manage junior staff.
• Maintain project schedules and support successful project delivery.

A growing Los Angeles-based design and construction company is seeking an experienced Residential Project Architect to join its team. This is an opportunity to work on high-quality residential projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team from design through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead BIM modeling and construction documentation in Revit.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and other consultants.
• Produce permit-ready documentation and construction sets.
• Perform QA/QC on drawings and models.
• Help develop and implement office standards.
• Support RFIs, submittals, and construction administration.
• Mentor and manage junior staff.
• Maintain project schedules and support successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

• B.Arch and/or M.Arch degree.
• 11–14 years of professional architecture experience, including 5+ years in residential architecture.
• Previous team management experience.
• Advanced Revit skills.
• Experience with custom single-family homes, ADUs, and residential projects.
• Experience producing permit-ready documentation and navigating permitting in Los Angeles.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and detailing.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to perform occasional jobsite visits.

Preferred:

Bluebeam and Procore experience; California architectural license or progress toward licensure.
