Job summary

gpac is seeking a Project Architect for a full-service architectural design firm in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on leading design through construction documents and construction administration, with collaboration across owners and consultants.

Applicants should bring 5–12+ years of experience, strong Revit skills, and be licensed or pursuing licensure, to contribute to diverse public, commercial, and institutional projects.

Qualifications

• 5-12+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• Licensed professional (or soon to be licensed) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an accredited university.

Project Architect Job Summary

Our client is local to Kansas City, MO and is a full-service architectural design firm providing innovative design solutions for a variety of projects in the Public Safety, Senior Living, Municipal/Government, Education, Recreation, Industrial, Office/Workplace, Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Multi-Family, and Hospitality sectors. Project Architect Requirements

• 5-12+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• Experience in relative project types prefered but not required.
• A licensed professional (or soon to be licensed) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• Strong design, technical, code, and detailing skills.
• Experience leading a project team and client presentations.
• Proactive written and verbal communication skills.

Project Architect Responsibilities

• Lead projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
• Coordinate with consultants/engineers and engaging with owners.
• Define project requirements and develop design criteria.
• Scheduling, Estimates, Budget, Planning to complete projects- drawings, models, images, material, etc.
• Use software to design, sketch and provide drawings of proposed projects.
• Professional client development skills.
• Leadership skills, ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
