Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Licensure is preferred but not required.
  • High-end residential experience is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and accountable.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing project needs, and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead conceptual and strategic design efforts across a variety of project types.
  • Communicate design intent through plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of design and construction.
  • Organize, prepare, and execute comprehensive construction document sets.
  • Compile and distribute project materials, documentation, and information as needed.
  • Delegate tasks to junior staff and review work for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Research products, materials, and specifications to support project design intent.
  • Help maintain project schedules, deadlines, and overall project quality.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Project Architect with 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design, project management, coordination, and construction documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect who thrives in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment and is committed to design excellence.

Project Architects are expected to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, strong leadership, and the ability to think strategically throughout every phase of a project. This role includes mentoring junior team members while working closely with firm principals to ensure successful project execution.
