Job summary

Horizontal is seeking a Project Architect to join a hybrid team supporting a large utility environment with offices in Minneapolis, MN and Denver, CO. You will lead architectural efforts from planning through delivery and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role involves developing design solutions, coordinating with stakeholders, and handling documentation while traveling occasionally to project sites. Regular in-office collaboration is expected Tuesday through Thursday.

Bring your architectural expertise to a hybrid opportunity supporting a large utility environment with office locations in Minneapolis, MN and Denver, CO. This Project Architect role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support projects that may include some travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural efforts for assigned projects from early planning through execution and delivery.
• Develop and review design solutions that align with project goals, technical requirements, and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to support project coordination and decision-making.
• Help manage project details, documentation, and deliverables to keep work moving forward smoothly.
• Participate in meetings and provide input on design, scope, and implementation considerations.
• Support occasional travel as needed for project-related activities.
• Contribute to a hybrid work model with regular in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.

Skills

• Experience in architecture, with the ability to contribute to complex project work.
