• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans in coordination with firm leadership.
• Produce and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and details that meet Dallas/Texas jurisdictional requirements.
• Conduct site visits and field observations to verify conformance with design intent.
• Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of design excellence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, MEP, civil, and process engineers.
• Ensure all work adheres to the firm’s quality management standards and professional ethics.

About the Role

As a Project Architect in Dallas, you will serve as the technical and design lead on a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong emphasis on industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for guiding projects from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring that every detail meets the highest standards of quality, code compliance, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and documentation process for industrial, manufacturing, and related project types using Revit as the primary BIM platform
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans in coordination with firm leadership
• Produce and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and details that meet jurisdictional requirements in Dallas and across Texas
• Conduct site visits and field observations to verify construction conformance with design intent
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and design excellence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, MEP, civil, and process engineering consultants
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the firm’s quality management standards and professional ethics

Qualifications

• Must be a registered architect with an active license in the United States
• 7–10 years of professional experience in architectural practice, with a proven track record of seeing complex projects through to completion
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required; experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, and BIM 360 is a plus
• Demonstrated experience working on industrial projects—such as manufacturing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, or advanced technology facilities is strongly preferred
• Deep knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction methodologies relevant to the Dallas region and the state of Texas
• Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
