Job summary

EXO Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to monitor and report on financial performance across assigned projects. You will ensure costs, billings, revenues, and transactions align with budgets and contracts, while partnering with Project Managers, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.

The role requires strong project accounting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within the infrastructure services sector. This position is based in the U.S..

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct project accounting or related experience.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP, including project accounting functionality.
• Experience in utility, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or field service projects preferred.
• CPA/CMA certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Project Setup & Financial Administration: establish project accounts, budgets, and billing structures.
• Project Cost Management: monitor costs, approve invoices, and allocate charges.
• Project Financial Analysis & Reporting: prepare variance and profitability reports.
• Project Billing & Revenue Support: ensure accurate billings per contracts and change orders.
• Project Closeout: ensure proper recording and documentation at project end.
• Compliance, Audit & Reporting: support audits and maintain documented controls.
• Process Improvement: enhance NetSuite workflows and financial controls.
