Kimley-Horn is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our West Palm Beach regional Project Accounting team. This on-site role supports the full project lifecycle with invoicing, AR/AP tasks, and data entry across internal and client systems.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Deltek CostPoint is a plus. Join a collaborative, professional team focused on accuracy and reliability.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience or coursework.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High degree of professionalism and strong people skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Deltek CostPoint proficiency is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support Project Accountants with business-related tasks for internal and external client requests.
• Prepare and send monthly invoices with expense backup, timesheet detail, pay applications, or client-specific invoicing requirements.
• Partner with Project Accountants to monitor and follow-up on unpaid invoices to collect AR balances.
• Work closely with accounting team to support full project lifecycle functions.
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by working with clients.
• Evaluate incoming payments for cash application accuracy.
• Process accounts payable, overhead invoices, check requests, and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Data entry into internal and external accounting systems.
• Review client contracts for accurate project setup.
• Electronic contract and document management.
• Assist with other general accounting support functions.
