Job summary

CFS is seeking a Project Accountant in North Billerica, MA. This newly created, onsite role focuses on controlling job costs, WIP reporting, and change orders while optimizing Procore usage.

You will partner with the Director of Finance and Project Managers, with strong growth into leadership as the team expands. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in construction project accounting, solid Excel skills, and experience with Procore and Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project accounting experience.
• Strong Procore experience required.
• Experience with job costing, WIP schedules, progress billings, and change orders.
• Advanced Excel; Sage Intacct experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage job costing, WIP reporting, progress billings, retainage, and change orders.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and forecasts while analyzing project performance.
• Partner with Project Managers on financial reporting, budgets, and cost projections.
• Reconcile project accounts and support month‑end close activities.
• Help improve accounting processes and maximize the organization's use of Procore.
