Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Accountant to join our employee-owned culture and contribute to accurate invoicing, budgeting, and A/P support. You will prepare contract documentation, maintain budgets, and provide project performance data to resolve financial issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project accounting or related roles.
• Experience with Earned Value Management preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Handle client invoicing, collections, and project budgeting.
• Provide contract documentation and maintenance, including fee and budget entries.
• Supply timely project performance data and resolve financial issues.
• Coordinate the project accounting system with departments and ensure contractual compliance.
• Assist multiple project managers daily and mentor junior staff.
