RealREPP is partnering with a growing MEP Design Build Construction firm to hire a Temp to Hire Project Accountant in Glendale, AZ. This role offers a stable, collaborative work environment and room for advancement within a respected organization.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly project billings, analyzing costs versus budgets, managing vendor documentation, and producing profitability reports. The position is on-site with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of project accounting experience preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Strong organization skills with high level of attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements.
• Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget.
• Manages vendor compliance, insurance, lien waivers, retention and W-9s.
• Produces and analyzes job performance and profitability through jobs cost tracking reports.
• Assists in preparation of status reports and maintains accurate project statuses and budget information in COINs.
• Identifies and resolves basic and more complex project-related accounting issues and resolves in a timely manner.
