Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
• Self-starter, team player, highly organized, detail oriented, and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication, ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Prior experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain respectful relationships with the project team.
• Partner with the Project Manager throughout the project life cycle.
• Set up new projects in the accounting system.
• Prepare percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and monthly billing/invoicing.
• Process accounts payable related to consultant and vendor invoices.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and manage collections communication with clients.
• Serve as a liaison between design staff and the financial management side of the firm.
