Intermap Technologies in Englewood, CO is seeking a full-time Project Accountant to support LOA coverage and potentially temp-to-hire. You will prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and help with monthly GL, project and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities include maintaining project accounting records in Great Plains, invoicing per contract terms, tracking unbilled revenue, preparing monthly EAC forecasts, and assisting month-end close for multiple entities.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years project accounting and general ledger experience.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Aufgaben

• Maintains project accounting records in general ledger software and ensures contract compliance for billing and revenue recognition.
• Issues and reviews client invoices and assists in timely collection of receivables while performing detailed reviews of unbilled revenue.
• Provides monthly estimate‑at‑completion (EAC) budget forecast and month-end reporting on project performance including gross margin variances.
• A key player in the month‑end close process, including cost accruals/deferrals, revenue recognition accuracy, and account reconciliations.
• Preparation of intercompany reconciliations and entries.
• Preparation of standard monthly journal entries; prepaids, accruals, reclasses, etc.
• Produces monthly accounting reports for financial statements and monthly management reports.
• Compares actual costs to estimates and analyzes variances.
