Amentum is seeking a Project Accountant to provide technical accounting support across the full project lifecycle. You will work with operations and finance to ensure accurate financial management, reporting, and compliance.

Key duties include forecasts, cost tracking, invoicing, US GAAP revenue recognition, and month-end close. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are essential to deliver dashboards and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years in a finance role, with project-based experience preferred.
• Experience in project accounting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel with macros; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end project setup, maintenance, and closure.
• Maintain rolling forecasts, incorporating risks, changes, and progress.
• Oversee project cost tracking and variance identification.
• Prepare and submit client invoices accurately and on time.
• Ensure revenue recognition in line with US GAAP.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Create project dashboards and KPIs for financial health.
• Partner with operations, finance, and vendors across the project lifecycle.
