Job summary

Jobtailor in Missouri is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage invoicing, contract records, and project budgeting. You will work with Project Managers and Principals, setup projects in Deltek Vantagepoint, and track invoices, change orders, and financials.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience (architecture/engineering preferred), strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• 3+ years accounting experience, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Construction or professional service firm experience will be considered.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint, Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and be deadline driven.
• Detail-oriented problem solver.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain contract information, including accurate files of client and subcontractor agreements.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Principals in preparing project budgets and other pertinent contract information.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vantagepoint accounting software.
• Track monthly invoices, additional service requests, and change orders with Project Managers.
• Visit other offices on occasion as required by project tracking duties.
• Assist Project Managers and Corporate Leadership with account collections, receivables, and payables.
• Collaborate with clients’ and subcontractors’ accounting departments.
• Perform other accounting responsibilities, including accounts payable and unit entry.
