Mannik Smith Group in Canton, MI is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Corporate/Administrative team. This full-time position supports project invoicing, contract administration, and project setup in Deltek Vantagepoint.

The ideal candidate has an accounting/finance degree and at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in architecture or engineering, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• 3+ years accounting experience; Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint and Microsoft Excel/Word.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing in line with company policies.
• Maintain project contracts and client/subcontractor files; assist PMs with budgets.
• Setup and maintenance of projects in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Track monthly invoices, change orders, and service requests across offices.
• Assist with accounts receivable and payable and collections.
