Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services in Blue Bell, PA is seeking a Project Accountant to manage the accounting for multiple life sciences projects. You will handle AP/AR, job costing, and reporting, collaborating with the Project Accounting Manager and operations team.

The role requires strong Excel and Timberline skills, thorough attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining compliance. This is a hands-on position at our Pennsylvania headquarters.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or 3-5 years equivalent experience, incl. 1 year in construction accounting.
• Ability to prioritize time and meet deadlines.
• Highly reliable with strong organizational skills for大量 documents (translated as many documents).
• A sense of urgency with multitasking and deadlines.
• Effective communication in writing and verbally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Timberline Software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs all accounting functions for assigned projects (AP/AR, job costs).
• Monitors and enforces company policy and procedures for projects.
• Sets up jobs and contracts in Timberline with budgets based on SVs.
• Records subcontractor commitments and compares to SVs.
• Reviews subcontractor progress payment applications and reconciles to prior submissions.
• Compiles payment requests from subcontractors and suppliers for owner payments.
• Reconciles owner payments with prior submissions and monitors payments.
• Maintains progress payments and retainage records; manages lien releases.
• Enters change orders and close-out duties; provides A/R collection data.
