Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is representing a reputable employee-owned commercial construction company seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join onsite in Wood Dale, IL. Onsite, M–F, 8am–5pm; you will own job cost setup, AIA billings, certified payroll compliance, and sub contract tracking for a portfolio of projects valued up to $30M.

You’ll partner with Project Managers, manage month-end close and WIP, and bring 5+ years of construction project accounting experience, including certified

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project accounting experience within construction, GC preferred.
• Hands-on experience with certified payroll, AIA billings, and lien releases.
• Public works experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• AIA G702/G703 owner billings and pay app prep, including a $30M project.
• Job cost setup, budgeting, and cost coding.
• Subcontractor pay apps, lien waivers, retention, and compliance tracking.
• Certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting.
• Public agency reporting.
• Month-end close and WIP support alongside our team.

our client, an employee-owned commercial construction company is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join our team onsite in Wood Dale, IL.

You’ll partner directly with our Project Managers on a busy portfolio of commercial and public works projects — 16+ jobs this summer, plus more in the works! You would be owning everything from job cost setup to AIA billings to certified payroll compliance.

What You’ll Own

• AIA G702/G703 owner billings and pay app prep, including a $30M project
• Job cost setup, budgeting, and cost coding
