Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Project Accountant for a Chicago-area, 100% ESOP contractor. You will work directly with the Treasurer and PM team, using Sage Intacct to manage project financials on commercial/public work.

On-site role with base pay $80,000–$95,000 plus annual bonus; benefits include medical, 401(k), PTO and holidays. Strong Excel skills and public works experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project accounting experience (commercial/public construction, not residential).
• Public works experience preferred (MWRD, CPS, CDB, CDOT, IDOT).
• Strong Excel skills; GC or sub background preferred.
• Sage Intacct ERP highly preferred.

$80,000–$95,000 base, plus annual bonus

Overview

Join a 100% employee-owned Chicago-area general contractor with nearly two centuries of history building schools, hospitals, housing, and stadiums. With three $70M+ public jobs and a new housing authority contract ramping up, we need a Project Accountant to work directly with our Treasurer and PM team using Sage Intacct!

• $80,000–$95,000 base + annual bonus, no ceiling on growth
• 100% ESOP — annual share grants up to 25% of salary, vested by year six!

Requirements

• 5+ years project accounting (commercial/public construction, not residential)
